We operate an appointments system for patients to see the doctors or practice nurse. Routine appointments are available every day in the morning and afternoon and can be booked in advance. Patients with urgent medical problems will be seen that day.
Non-urgent house visits are usually done by the doctors later in the day.
Appointment lengths are 10 minutes with a GP and 10-20 minutes with a practice nurse. Remember, each appointment is for one person only and we would ask you not to use appointment times to request repeat prescriptions.
Sometimes surgeries have to be changed at short notice. In this respect it is useful for us to have a daytime telephone contact number for patients, e.g. work or mobile phone.
If you feel you require an interpreter to accompany you at a consultation please inform reception who will clarify your needs before contacting the Glasgow Interpreting Service.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
